Histomorphological patterns of skin adnexal tumours with an insight into molecular updates - A single institutional study

Background: Skin adnexal tumors are a spectrum of benign and malignant that differentiate toward or arise from the unit skin. These rare pose challenge in diagnosis, often, discrepancy is seen between clinical histopathological diagnosis. Materials methods: This single institutional study was carried out among 36 patients who presented with swelling. An initial diagnosis considered based on history followed by examination. Results: Among patients, only 4 had tumors. them, 3 sebaceous differentiation, 1 apocrine eccrine differentiation. benign, 14 follicular 12 6 The clinic-pathological correlation 65%. Conclusions: accurate not possible just features. Histopathologic examination gold standard for categorization.
